With Singapore moving towards a smart nation, and the elevated focus on Human Capital, there is a heighten expectations from multiple stakeholders in the business environment on Human Resource. This calls for a need for HR practitioners to innovate, to be more user-centric when fronted by internal changes around HR systems, processes, procedures and policies.

As organisations evolve in nature, size and complexity, conventional HR service delivery operating models need to also evolve. The use of data and analytics is increasingly prevalent across a range of HR activities to create insights for business intelligence and foresights for forward planning purposes. With the changing HR landscape and the recent technological disruption to the ways that business is conducted, there is great opportunities for HR innovation.

Course Objective

The 3-day workshop allows participants to learn HR innovation through Design thinking methodologies that focuses on end users’ experience and the co-creation of solutions to address workplace challenges identified by data and analytics.

Participants will also advocate the use of HR technologies as core enablers to efficiently increase work efficiency and productivity and to produce enhancements to the HR user experience through optimized HR service delivery model.

Course Outline

The course will take the form of lectures, coupled with interactive group discussions using real-life case scenarios and cross-industry HR best practices sharing. There will be no written assignments for this course.

2. Applying Design Thinking Methods
3. Leveraging on HR Technologies for HR Innovation & Concept Creation
4. Innovation integration via Business Modelling

Minimum Requirements

Proficiency in English with human resource management, delivery and operations and services background with an interest to work towards process and service enhancement.

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

Suitable for

Staff and Management of industry players who have an oversight and responsibility for the successful deployment of human and other requisite resources
