The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) have jointly created the inaugural FinTech Talent (FT) Programme. Through this initiative, aspiring PME’s can be groomed into exceptional FinTech leaders in their respective fields of expertise. This programme is committed to provide continuous engagements, career development platforms and networking opportunities for participants.
The FT Programme features a stellar line-up of renowned industry practitioners, C-suite leaders and entrepreneurs from locally and internationally grown organisations. Over 500 FinTech professionals will attend our monthly sessions held by esteemed practitioners and experts, which aim to train participants in the areas of technical, leadership and soft skills. Networking opportunities and sharing of experiences by our speakers will also be presented to all participants at every session.
The FT Programme endeavours to equip and certify FinTech professional with the right set of skills required to succeed in the workplace while additionally providing opportunities to expand their network by connecting with fellow practitioners, leaders and entrepreneurs.

The capstone project is a culmination of the knowledge gained across the different modules in this programme. You will go through an end-to-end process in creating a real-life startup or corporate innovation project, from ideation to pitching. Working alongside industry experts and startup founders, the capstone project is the perfect chance for participants to test-drive the ideas and perhaps bring it to fruition eventually. Outstanding capstone projects will be given special mention.
FinTech Learning Journeys
Embark on 2-3 journeys visiting innovation labs and startups to learn about how innovation and technology are applied through a guided tour.
Professionals, Managers, Executives working in/will be exploring or assigned roles related to FinTech.
Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business or any other relevant disciplines.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.

Participants upon achieving 75% attendance rate and passing all the assessments will be awarded the Certificate of Performance.

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)
With effect from January 2016, Singaporeans aged 25 years and above who received their SkillsFuture Credit account activation letter will be eligible for an initial credit of $500 which can be used to pay for course fees for a range of eligible skills-related courses. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies/funding.
This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants. Application via SkillsFuture Portal can only be made starting from 60 days before the course commencement date.
Skillsfuture (SF) Series
Singaporeans and Singapore PRs are eligible for 70% course fee funding for registration with effect from 28 October 2017.
Singaporeans aged 40 and above will enjoy 90% subsidy of course fee.
This funding is applicable to both individual and company-sponsored participants. Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and/or sit and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
NTUC union members enjoy 50% (unfunded) course fee support for up to $250 each year when you enrol for courses supported under UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme). Conditions apply.

3. Withdrawal and Deferment
Withdrawal and deferment notice must be made in writing to the Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy, Singapore Polytechnic via email accordingly:

For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows:
2 weeks before the commencement of the course - Full refund
Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund
On or after date of commencement - No refund
There will be no refund or transfer of course once the account has been created.
The Singapore Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel or postpone any of the courses. Applicants will be duly notified and where applicable, the full fees will be refunded.
The Singapore Polytechnic also reserves the right to amend the fees charged or the period and duration of the courses.
The data provided to Singapore Polytechnic will be kept strictly confidential and will be used for the purpose of course administration. The data may be passed on to the relevant organisations that require the information related to the course.
