Course Objective
This course covers key areas of using digital technologies in manufacturing/operations environment and provides a foundation to Industrial Internet of Thing (IoT). Participants will acquire knowledge necessary for remote monitoring and control of manufacturing
facilities through experiential learning.

Introduction to Internet of Things (IoT) Concepts:
This course introduces applications of IoT systems in the area of monitoring and control. Participants will understand how different technologies,
such as sensors, microcontroller, cloud, data analytic and mobile apps, are applied in an IoT system. The experiences allow them to explore possible IoT applications to enhance existing system features or designing a new system.

The course aims to reach a target audience of Manufacturing, Maintenance Engineers / Technicians or anyone who wants to understand how digital technologies and Industrial IoT system apply at their workplace.
Minimum Entry Requirements / Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Basic computer skills are desirable, but not essential.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate
