Participants would be able to start their own smart hydroponics farm with technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled automation.
The objective of the course is to introduce participants on how smart urban farm can create a sustainable and affordable food source and they will learn how technology can drive farming effortless and increase yields. Basic farming knowledge, techniques
and maintenance processes will be discussed. Participants will also learn hydroponics farming and enjoy hands-on session during the course.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Identify types of farming solutions in Singapore
• Describe the life cycle of farming process
• Describe the food safety and regulations
• Demonstrate how hydroponic works and explain its benefits

• Explain how to control and maintain a farming system
• Discuss on how technologies can drive smart urban farming
• Explain the basics of indoor vertical farming setup
