Course Objective

This CAAS approved UAPL theory course prepares participants for the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) theory test that leads them to obtain CAAS Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL).

This course prepares participants for the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) theory test. It aims to equip participants with the essential theoretical knowledge for the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) theory test that covers general unmanned aircraft system (UAS), principles of flight, air law, navigation, meteorology, human factors, safety and operations.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand and interpret the essential knowledge of general unmanned aircraft system (UAS), principles of flight, air law, navigation, meteorology and human factors. They will be able to apply the knowledge in operating the unmanned aircraft safely in Singapore.

Minimum Requirements

Able to understand English
Be at least 16 years old
Suitable for all levels of educational, skills, literacy, numeracy, and experience
Reasonable dexterity with eyes-hands coordination

Certification / Accreditation


• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
