Course Objective

The Water Efficiency Manager course has been introduced by PUB, the national water agency and the Singapore Polytechnic to equip facilities managers with the knowledge and skills to conduct water audits and apply water efficiency measures to reduce water consumption in commercial/ residential buildings, and industries.

This course is aimed at building owners, facilities, estates and operations managers as well as engineers and architects.

Water Efficiency Management Plan (WEMP)

Minimum Requirements

The applicant is expected to have basic command of English with a minimum GCE 'O' Levels qualification. It would be an advantage if he/she has 2 years of working experience in building / facilities management.

Certification / Accreditation


• Participants will need to pass an open-book test (MCQ format) and have at least 75%attendance in order to be certified as a Water Efficiency Manager.

A joint PUB-SP Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded to participants who pass the examination and whose attendance is not less than 75%.

Eligible participants who have completed the course with Certificate of Completion will be awarded with 10 CPD points, subject to the approval of Professional Engineers Board (PEB). Please inform the administrator 2 weeks prior to course commencement if you would like to earn the CPD points.
