Course Objective

In this 3-day course, participants will be introduced to the complete data mining process, from identifying business problems, data pre-processing, model building, to the evaluation of machine learning models.

This course helps participants to gain proficiency in data analytics by constructing workflows in clustering, classification and regression. It also guides participants to analyse data of interest to derive meaningful and actionable insights

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Acquire proficiency in data analytics by constructing workflows in clustering, classification and regression.
2. Analyse data to derive meaningful and actionable insights

1. Introduction to Analytics & KNIME
2. Data Preparation and Exploration
3. Unsupervised Learning techniques
4. Supervised Learning techniques
5. Ensemble Methods

Minimum Requirements

Basic knowledge on data and IT skills. Participants must be comfortable to work with new software platform (no coding skills needed)

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
