Course Introduction
The course will cover commonly used industrial robots, their applications, robot safety, and basic robot programming methods.
Course Objective
The objective of the course is to equip learners with fundamental knowledge on industrial robots. Learners will be aware of benefits of using robots, able to perform basic robot programming, and able to select suitable robots and associated components for different applications.
Course Outline
• Introduction to robotics which include structures and benefits of industrial robots, and relevant technical terms
• Common/Typical robot applications such as welding, painting, and pick-and-place.
• Robot system specifications and requirements for different applications
• Robot programming
Suitable for
Participants who wish to understand industrial robots in general. This includes end-users of industrial robots without any engineering background, decision-makers looking into adopting robotics technology and even participants who just want to increase their general knowledge.
