Course Objective

This course aims to impart basic hands-on knowledge on drones to both parents and young children on how to safely handle and fly a simple, self-assembled drone. Each participant will bring home a DIY drone kit after the course. Each participant can also bring a child between 8 to 15 years old, as an accompaniment, at no additional cost. Participants who are SP alumni will also receive free drone accessories. The objective of this course is to provide participants with basic knowledge on how to confidently build and fly a drone. Participants will also be equipped with the basic knowledge of the Dos and Don’ts of drone usage in Singapore.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the different components of a drone and assemble these components together.
2. Operate a drone leisurely.

Minimum Requirements

Basic English Proficiency. Minimum Age to attend the course will be 8 Years Old.

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Performance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who pass the examination and meet at least 75% attendance rate
