Course Introduction

This course will help participants learn the basic principles and concepts in project management. Project Management training is vital to provide participants with the right skills-tools and knowledge when it comes to managing a project. Project management training will help participants to have a better sense of their time and resources. This course will also facilitate them to better recognise the risks and plan the mitigation for it. They will also learn to implement the change management processes where applicable and also be able to implement the quality standards in their company.


Course Objective

This course will facilitate participants to identify the principles and concepts in project management. Participants will also be able to apply the knowledge in vendor management, project planning, timelines management, implementation quality control and proper closure of a project. They will also learn on change management processes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Minimum Entry Requirements / Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Min ITE qualification
Have at least 2 years of experience preferably in business, IT or Engineering roles

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Performance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate


Trainer’s Profile

Zack Zahari

Zack Zahari has more than 35 years of working experience. Driven by his passion to inspire people, he chose to be a trainer to share his knowledge and experience. He has conducted numerous PMP Certification courses and other foundational project management courses for both public and corporate (in-house) clients for more than 6 years.

Zack is experienced in managing projects based on various project management lifecycles, such as Predictive, Agile, Iterative and Incremental. In his capacity as a PMO and QA, he developed standard project management processes, procedures, and templates based on the PMI PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Additionally, as a PMO member, he has also conducted audits on the project teams.
Puli S Saravanan Puli S Saravanan is an experienced business leader with over 29 years of rich experience. He has worked for KBR, Shell and ExxonMobil – Refining & Petrochemicals business across APAC, ME and Global portfolio. He has a proven track record in Business Development, Project Management, Process Improvement, Operations Excellence and Digital Transformation. 
He has managed multimillion dollar projects in the areas of EPC and Consulting, Managed Projects and Turnarounds. As Contracts/Procurement Advisor he has saved 20% through low-cost sourcing for a $1.2bn project. During his tenure, he has been a recipient of many awards for his outstanding performance.
