Conflict in the workplace occurs when there are different expectations between parties. Conflicting parties can avoid serious altercation or litigation, if they apply mediation strategies early to resolve the conflict. In many instances, a mediated resolution would serve to restore trust and improve business and working relationships. This course aims to equip participants with conflict management and mediation skills to effectively manage conflict and disputes within the organization or with external stakeholders, which will translate into better productivity and improve the bottom line for organizations.

Course participants will have the knowledge and skill to apply mediation principles for conflict resolution.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Apply mediation principles and conflict management framework to help resolve work conflicts.

Introduction to Conflict Management
Stages of Mediation
Factors affecting interest-based Mediation
Examples/ Case studies of Conflict management of disputes through mediation. Role Play will be extensively used.

Require good command of English and has working experience in leading a team and managing people.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate
