Course Introduction
A Data Analyst job involves gathering data from internal and external sources as well as cleaning data to remove duplicates or irrelevant information. Besides performing data validation and quality control, a Data Analyst has to be proficient in using computational tools to mine data and identify trends, patterns and correlations. By going through the course, participants will be able to pick up a commonly used computational open-source programming language such as Python, which has a wide selection of matured libraries to assist in manipulating data and draw insights from large data sets.
Course Objective
This course aims to introduce participants to Python, a general purpose programming language commonly used in data science by companies to gain insights from harvested data for competitive advantage. Participants will learn ways to import, scrape, store and manipulate data as well as Python libraries and data science tools commonly used for data analysis.
