This course helps participants understand the fundamentals of design and how to create attractive infographics that are easy to read and digest.
By the end of the course, participants will learn how to design infographics for their work in areas such as:
1. How-to instructions
3. Policy updates
4. Sharing of best practices
5. Sharing of audit findings
• Identifying the target audience
• Creating the copy (“story-telling”)
• Design principles
• Using colours and white space
• Selecting fonts
• Translating copy (text and analysis) into visuals
• Deciding on format
• Using infographic tools/ software
• Avoiding potential pitfalls
• Hands-on practice
