In this short course, the participants will learn how to use Substance Painter workflow to create 3D game asset from modelling to PBR (Physical Based Rendering) texturing process of 3D artwork for skillsets in the Digital Media sector such as games, animation,
film and interactive media, digital design, architecture and interior design.
This course equips participants with the essential knowledge ad skillsets of 3D modelling with Substance Painter workflow for game and animation projects.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Create 3D game asset with high-poly to low-poly workflow.
2. Use Substance Painter workflow to create texture with PBR (Physical Based Rendering) texturing process.
3. Integrate 3D game asset into game engine such as Unreal Engine 4.

Minimum Entry Requirements / Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Participants should be able to communicate in simple English, have basic skills computer skills, preferred to have some basic knowledge of 3D modelling skill and Photoshop skill.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

Clarence Ong (Co-Trainer) has more than 11 years of experience in the game, animation, and film industry where he worked as environment lead and art director for projects ranging from AAA games, TV animation series, MTV video and feature
film production. He has worked for clients such as Codemasters and renowned Japanese AAA game publishers. His primary focuses are 3D environment art, shaders and visual development with Unreal Engine for both western and Japanese artistic direction.Alfred Fabian (Co-Trainer)
is a passionate 3D artist with more than 10 years of experience in game/animation and the film industry in various projects such as L.A. Noire, Saint Row 3rd and Happy Feet. His primary skills are character modeling + texturing, digital sculpting, and lighting for animation production.
