Participants will learn to identify different types of ingredients and their role in formulations and hands-on training to pick up skills during formulation.
The course aims to provide a wide range of raw ingredients for personal care products and understanding their safety profile. An in-depth study of raw ingredients used in personal care products, e.g. cleansers, lotion, moisturizer, anti-ageing and whitening creams to sunscreens, and understanding the safety profile of these ingredients. In practical sessions, participants will have hands-on experience in evaluating these ingredients to gain a deeper understanding of their functions in personal care products.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Classify different ingredients in personal care products
2. Recognise role of each ingredient in a formulation
3. Apply technical skills for evaluation of ingredients & personal care formulations
