Mode of Training:
Cloud services are readily available through the internet. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of cloud computing, how to setup a private cloud, provision computing resources with public cloud, and to use IoT (Internet of Things) devices to upload data to cloud for processing.

This course is specifically designed for computer users to understand cloud computing and learn how to use the cloud resources through practical lessons.

Profile of Trainer
Mr. Teo Shin Jen is a lecturer with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Singapore Polytechnic who has extensive knowledge in the domains of computer science & engineering. He holds a MSc in Web Science & Big Data Analytics from University College London and BEng in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a FabAcademy alumni and a certified CCNP, and CCAI.
He has 10 years of working experience in the computing domains especially in the design and implementation of solutions in areas ranging from edge computing to cloud computing for both teaching and projects. In his free time, he is an avid open source collaborator, and maker. He has also provided talks to the public on topics such as Maker Culture, and Cloud Computing in education.
