Have you always wanted to better use the WhatsApp features to communicate with your family and friends? Designed for seniors, this course is part of the Silver Infocomm Curriculum – Basic Digital Skills training to help seniors grasp useful digital skills for daily activities such as communications, and searching for information.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to use WhatsApp to stay connected with their family and friends. Participants will be able create a WhatsApp account, and use it to add contacts and send messages, images and files.
Participants will also be able to use WhatsApp to make voice calls, video calls and create group chats.

As part of Silver Infocomm Curriculum, cybersecurity tips will also be covered at the end of the course.
This course is suitable for seniors aged 50 and above, or anyone who would like to gain basic knowledge and skills in these areas
Minimum Entry Requirements / Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Participant should possess basic English proficiency, basic computer, and internet browsing skills. Participants are to bring their own mobile devices and have already downloaded the WhatsApp app from their App Store or Play Store.
Award / Certification / Accreditation
• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate
