Profile of Trainers
Eleana Teo, Managing Director of Knight Frank Property Asset Management Pte Ltd (Strata Management) has had more than 25 years of experience in property management which includes lease administration and property management. She also set up the department to manage the first group of properties under the purview of the Singapore Land Authority, which was outsourced to a private entity in October 1998.
Her previous experience in property management:

Andrew founded A4 International in 1996 with clients’ confidence who trusted his ability, and witnessed his service performance during his employment with Yumin Properties & Management Pte Ltd as a Property Manager for 5 years. He managed a portfolio of strata-titled developments and has gained technical and project management knowledge. Through managing a local building materials company for 3 years, he also further broaden his expertise.
With dedication and commitment, the firm has grew rapidly since its privatization in 2002 and currently managing more than 60 projects. Andrew has supervised and managed various upgrading and refurbishment projects for many clients over the years, constantly delivering results at competitive costs.
Andrew is consulted on the Building Maintenance Strata Management Act 30C & the Land Titles (Strata) Act by different clients and has assisted in several collective sales exercises. As the Principal with more than 23 years of experience in strata management, Andrew's emphasis on quality & result-oriented management services has served as core values for the firm.
Andrew is also involved in volunteer work, particularly with the elderly. He sits on the Board for St. Johns Home for Elderly Persons as a Vice-Chairman. He was also involved in the Association of Property & Facility Managers as an Assistant Treasurer. Currently, he is in the Council for the Association of Strata Managers. He is also actively involved in Grassroots activities for his community.
Mr Teo Poh Siang graduated with a Diploma in Build¬ing Maintenance & Management from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1982 under an Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship. An avid lifelong learner, he continued to pursue his aca¬demic studies on a part-time basis and went on to obtain a Diploma in Marketing Management from Ngee Ann Polytechnic; Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK); and Bachelor of Real Estate (Valuation) Honours from the National University of Singapore.
In 1993, Poh Siang founded Wisely Property Consultants Pte Ltd and later Wisely 98 Pte Ltd. He contributes his expertise to the industry as a trainer at the Institute of Estate Agents under its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Core Activity. He speaks frequently on strata matters at different forum. He is also one of the founding members of the Association of Strata Managers.
Poh Siang is the author of A Practical Guide to STRATA MANAGEMENT in Singapore, a book that has been positively reviewed by industry players.
Mr Chow obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Imperial College and Bachelor of Science in Estate Management from University of Reading. He is currently a lecturer in School of Architecture & The Built Environment, Singapore Polytechnic. He is also Associate Faculty with SIM University teaching BSC Facilities & Events Management. He has conducted short courses teachings in the areas of facilities management for SAF, Ascendas and CapitaLand. He has worked 12 years in the real estate industry with international property consultants and developers prior to joining Singapore Polytechnic. He has experiences in leading team of staff to manage office building, condominiums, mixed developments, shopping centres. He has also completed the Green Manager Course and Green Mark Facilities Manager course conducted by BCA.
Mr Eric Ng graduated as a Building Surveyor, currently a registered Fire Safety Manager and completed the Green Mark Facilities Manager who is passionate in the Facilities and Property Management industry. Equipped with technical knowledge related to the building industry, Eric started his career in the construction field by handling sales and marketing of aluminum & glazing works. Subsequently, he progressed to join the property and facilities management industry and managed various properties, such as private residential estates, sports recreation facilities and university hostel.
After gaining over 10 years of working experience from the industry, he joined Singapore Polytechnic in 2011 as a full time teaching staff. Besides that, he is also an Associate teaching staff with SIM University and conducted short courses occasionally. His area of teaching includes Facilities Management, Strata Management, Fire Safety, Building Services, Building Maintenance Technology, Events and Venue Management, etc.

1. SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Approved
Singaporeans and Singapore PRs are eligible for 70% course fee funding for registration with effect from 28 October 2017. This funding is applicable to both individual and company-sponsored participants. Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and/or sit and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
Singaporeans aged 40 years and above will enjoy a 90% subsidy of course fee.
Funding Validity Period: Till 31 Dec 2020
2. SkillsFuture Credit** (SFC)
With effect from January 2016, Singaporeans aged 25 years and above who received their SkillsFuture Credit account activation letter will be eligible for an initial credit of $500 which can be used to pay for course fees for a range of eligible skills-related courses. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies/funding.
This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants. Application via SkillsFuture Portal can only be made starting from 60 days before the course commencement date.
3. Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
NTUC union members enjoy 50% (unfunded) course fee support for up to $250 each year when you enrol for courses supported under UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme). Conditions apply.

Withdrawal and Deferment
Withdrawal and deferment notice must be made in writing to the Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy, Singapore Polytechnic via email accordingly:Online Courses

For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows:Classroom
- 2 weeks before the commencement of the course - Full refund
- Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund

- There will be no refund or transfer of course once the account has been created.
The Singapore Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel or postpone any of the courses. Applicants will be duly notified and where applicable, the full fees will be refunded.
The Singapore Polytechnic also reserves the right to amend the fees charged or the period and duration of the courses.
The data provided to Singapore Polytechnic will be kept strictly confidential and will be used for the purpose of course administration. The data may be passed on to the relevant organisations that require the information related to the course.
