The Diploma in Logistics (Warehouse Management) aims to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the functions and activities in warehouse and inventory management. It covers costing, technology, process, layout, materials handling systems and manpower aspects of managing a warehouse to support manufacturing or distribution. The course takes on an interactive, hands-on approach to learning with an emphasis on analysis using Excel and presentation skills.
This WSQ diploma consists of 5 core modules covering Global Supply Chain Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics Quality Management, Logistics Project Management and Supply Chain Process Improvement. It also has 5 specialisations modules covering Warehouse Cost Optimization, Warehouse Operations, Warehouse Performance Measurement, Logistics Solutioning and Dangerous Goods Management.
Suitable for
This course aims to train participants for the logistics industry. The curriculum is designed with a good blending of theory and industry practice for effective roles as Buyer, Material Planner, Distribution and Freight Forwarders, Warehouse Management Coordinators or Supervisor, Project Planners and Co-ordinators.
Participants will learn how to meet the requirements of different roles to accomplish and develop effective decision-making and problem-solving skills at strategic, tactical and operational levels to fulfil orders and execute and meet the project timeline.
Diploma in Logistics (Warehouse Management) graduates can apply for Ngee Ann Poly Diploma in Business Practice (International Supply Chain)
Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Participants must have their own laptop/pc for e-learning and are assumed to have the following:
- Have basic logistics skills in warehouse operations
- Basic computers skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
- Completed and passed the online quiz
Course Outline
This course consists of 10 modules which will be offered on a modular basis.
Each module consists of 28 hours of classroom training hour and 12 hours of e-learning.

Mode of Assessment
Participants are required to undertake continuous assessments, projects and written test.
Certification
Upon completion participants will be awarded the WSQ Diploma in Logistics, if they achieved a minimum of 75% attendance rate as well as certified competent on all assessments and projects required by all the 10 modules within the course period.
The course title reflected on the SOA is in accordance to the Competency Standard approved and endorsed by SSG recognised by the industry. The course title WSQ Diploma in Logistics (Warehouse Management) named by SP are for easy reference and of common use by the industry. The contents and curriculum covered in the programme you have attended are aligned and approved by SSG in accordance to their competency Standard WSQ Diploma in Logistics, thus it’s only the naming of the programme title that differ.
Participants may log in to MySkillsFuture to download e-certs for Statement of Attainment (SOA) for each module.
