content marketing? The Work-Study Programme (Digital Content
Marketing) (WSProg-DCM) can be your answer.
Jointly offered by Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and Singapore
University of Social Sciences (SUSS), the WSProg-DCM is a 12-month work-study programme
created out of a convergence of three industries: Media, Marketing and Info-communication
Technology. The programme is targeted at motivated fresh
polytechnic graduates who want to stand out from the crowd by jump-starting
their full-time careers with WSP companies (with full pay), while
simultaneously receiving sponsored part-time structured training in digital
content marketing from SP and SUSS.
Course Objectives
The WSProg-DCM is designed to deepen the skills and knowledge of participants in Digital Content Marketing, through structured institutional-based learning, complemented by on-the-job training by participating employers.
Content Marketing is “a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action” (Content Marketing Institute).

Course Pathway

ArticulationAfter the WSP, interested graduates may choose to continue with another 3 modules (about 6 months), that lead to a certificate and/or credit exemptions for an SUSS minor in Digital Content Marketing.
Minimum Entry Requirements
1. The entry requirements for WSP participants are:
The applicant must be Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident of Singapore, and shall be a graduate from Full-time Polytechnic Diploma/ITE Technical Diploma/ITE Technical Engineering Diploma/ITE Work-Learn Technical Diploma within 36 months of graduation or from his last day of ORD. SP will evaluate individuals who have graduated for more than 36 months but within 5 years from the date of gradation or ORD on a case-by-case basis.

2. The entry requirements for Stackable Module participants are:
Diploma or higher qualification holder in Business/ Marketing, Design, Info-comms or Media and Communication diploma from one of the polytechnics in Singapore. Applicants with other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Course Outline
Participants in this WSProg-DCM will undergo a structured 12-month course which comprises of campus-based lessons and on-the-job training at the company’s workplace. E-Learning will also be used to give participants greater flexibility to learn independently at their own pace.
The course consists of five modules conducted over two semesters within one academic year. Classes will generally be conducted one evening (three hours) per week.
