MoU Signing between Singapore Polytechnic PACE Academy and Singapore Pools – In support of the Human Capital Development Needs for Social Service Sectors

Singapore Polytechnic and Singapore Pools have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, 1 December 2021 in support of the human capital development needs for the social service and charity sectors. The MoU aims to support the upskilling of professionals in the social service sector with proven technology to achieve their digitalisation goals and transform the way personalised experiences are delivered to the community.

Ms Evelyn, Senior Director of Singapore Pools spoke on the importance of digital transformation being “Human – Centered” so that we create an environment where our people continuously learn and thrive throughout this digitalisation journey. 

Ms Georgina Phua, Deputy Principal (Development) of Singapore Polytechnic shared similar sentiments, emphasising that a widen pool of learning resources can therefore enable our social service professionals to build up their digital literacy and acquire the skills they need to develop seamless digital experiences that meet the needs of the community.
