SP PACE Academy organised the SkillsFuture Work-Learn Bootcamp (WLB) for Engineer 4.0 Networking Day on 16 December 2019 at Singapore Polytechnic (SP).

SkillsFuture WLB for Engineer 4.0 programme is a collaboration among SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Generation. It is an 8-week bootcamp that helps to equip fresh graduates and mid-career individuals with the relevant job-role specific behavioural, mind-set and technical skills in sectors with acute demand. The highlight of this programme is that leading Engineering companies will be invited for networking and interviewing sessions with the graduates from the bootcamp, giving them an exclusive opportunity to open up to job options in process-engineering related roles.

The very first Networking Day held on 16 December 2019 attracted a total of 8 companies. 12 graduates from the first batch of the WLB presented their respective project to the potential employers and explained how their proposed ideas/prototypes could be implemented in real-case scenarios.

The graduates were extremely grateful for this opportunity as they shared about their learning journey and experiences gained over the span of 8 weeks.
