On 15 January 2020, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JTC Corporation (JTC), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) together with Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and four other Polytechnics (Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic). 

This is a new talent development initiative under the JTC’s Industry Connect effort where the intent of this partnership is to develop and upskill industry talents for companies in JTC’s estates and developments. It focuses on three key areas – Technology Adoption, Talent Development and Environmental Sustainability.

The various stakeholders will be involved in the following areas:-

1. Industry talks, company visits and organised events to create opportunities for exposure to skill requirements, job roles and career prospects in the sectors overseen by JTC.
2. Project opportunities such as case challenges and joint projects between Industries and Institutions. 
3. Job opportunities and internship with companies under JTC’s estates and developments. 
4. Workforce development initiatives such as professional conversion programmes to meet industry demand and job redesign for existing workforce to facilitate industry transformation.
