IHRP Award Winner Arman is our man in HR
23 Jun 2021
Our DHRMP student Arman Bunyamin has been awarded the National HR Young Talent Award by the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). An initiative managed by IHRP on behalf of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), this award aims to build Singapore’s local Human Resource (HR) talent pool by encouraging students to pursue a HR career. Cash prizes sponsored by MOM are awarded to the top graduating HR student from each university and polytechnic.
According to Arman, “Human Resource (HR) professionals are the curators of the delicate balance between corporate goals and employee welfare. One should not treat employees as mere workers and statistics, but people with their own needs, stories and ambitions.”
Arman’s goal is to inspire other HR professionals to impact others and touch lives in their work. He hopes to learn from and work with other HR professionals, and also come back to contribute to DHRMP. Said Arman, “I want to thank SP and IHRP for making this award possible. I am very grateful to my family and my DHRMP family. A very special thanks to my lecturer Mrs Kee as well, for inspiring me to put my best effort into everything I do.”
We are very proud of Arman, and hope his example will inspire other SP students to continually scale greater heights.
