Held on 21st December 2018, the SB End of Year Gala Dinner with the “Masquerade theme” kicked off on a lovely evening with fantastic food and bustling company of students from SP School of Business. Organised by a committee of students from the Diploma in Tourism and Resort Management (DTRM), the event gathered SB students from across all Diplomas for the evening of fun: glamour dressing up, timeout for chow and bonding.
The diners were thoroughly entertained by the emcees and also performances from their fellow SB friends, displaying their artistic talents in songs, dances and even a magic show. Lucky draw added to the crowd’s excitement. Prizes included stuffed toys, Adidas vouchers and Golden Village Gold Class tickets!
The evening highlight - a catwalk where hopefuls for the Mr. and Ms. Best Dressed titles strutted their way onto the stage – drew loud cheers from the delighted, enthusiastic crowd.
Accolades from Kliff Alton Ho (DTRM Year 2), Head of the Organising Committee:
“Overall, the organising process was very smooth, helmed by very competent organising committee members. The team was always on task with whatever work assigned to them, always delivering quality work and even took the initiative to contribute more than what was expected of them. I would like to thank my organising committee for their hard work, because the event wouldn’t have been possible without them.”
Kliff‘s aspiration of fostering bonding amongst SB students, creating a strong spirit of youthful optimism for the New Year - is very much fulfilled in this evening of enjoyment from the “Masquerade theme” dinner/event.
