Course Highlights

INDUSTRY NOW CURRICULUM (INC): If you thrive on learning-by-doing, you can opt for this alternative learning pathway in your second and third year of study. In lieu of attending module classes, you get to work in cybersecurity job roles such as associate security analyst or security operations analyst at the cybersecurity student agency Project INC on curated real client industry projects or security operations centre to gain credits and gain exposure to the latest technologies.
INDUSTRY CERTIFIED CURRICULUM (IC2): To help you deepen your knowledge in areas of your passion, you able to gain certifications that are aligned to the industry. These recognised certifications will allow you to get better career opportunities.
CYBER WARGAME CENTRE: We create such realistic scenarios to prepare you for the REAL cyberthreats!
ACCELERATED PROGRESSION PATHWAY to Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD): You can take up modules taught by SUTD while studying in SP. If you choose to progress to SUTD after graduation, you will be able to complete your SUTD degree in a shorter period of time. Click here to find out more.

With DISM what began as “something cool” to study after secondary school turned into a career with high potential. I learnt from excellent lecturers and they made use of handson learning to help me better understand the many facets of information security. Through opportunities such as internships, certifications and competitions, I also gained valuable insights of the cyber security industry. It is an industry that is constantly evolving and I am glad that SP has prepared me well for it.

SoC gave me an opportunity to explore my interest in cybersecurity from different aspects—coding with security in mind, ethical hacking, digital forensics and even IT audit. Although I joined the diploma course with little knowledge on cybersecurity and IT in general, I was able to absorb the concepts in school quickly with the help of my lecturers and peers. Through my internship, I have learnt that my passion lies in audit work and I intend to continue working in IT audit in the future too.
