30 Aug 2022

Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (DISM) current Year three student Johnathan Chew Yip Hong developed the iHelp Project to use technology to help Singaporean youths who are suffering from mental health issues to overcome their obstacles. iHelp will be made available on Telegram as a Telegram bot, as well as an actual application on mobile phones.

Johnathan shared that one of the main benefits of using iHelp is to inform individuals where to get help from, to receive no judgement when seeking help, to empower youths to see their value beyond their condition and help them to keep a positive outlook to life.

For developing iHelp, Johnathan received the Lee Hsien Loong Interactive Digital Media Smart Nation Award for his contributions to the community.
