National Software Competition 2019
23 Aug 2019
The National Software Competition is a National Infocomm Competition organised by the Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Computing, and is in its 35th run this year.
We have partnered with Singapore Scholastic Trust Ltd (SST) who have geared the secondary schools on Design Thinking with Robotics and Computational Thinking. With the qualifying rounds facilitated by our partners, we have shortlisted 120 students and invited them to our Challenge. This year’s theme is ‘Computational Thinking with Coding’.
The students attended a half day training on Python and came back ready for 2 challenging activities. Through this competition, they went away with real-world problem-solving techniques that are used by software engineers to write applications & apps.
See you next year!
