Article reported that SP’s Media, Arts & Design School (MAD) school announced its partnership with award-winning global marketing communications agency DDB Group to launch "Spark Agency" (Spark). The virtual agency is aimed at helping SMEs enhance their comprehensive digital marketing, brand and social media capabilities. SP’s Senior Director of the Business & Creatives Cluster Yen Yen noted that many SMEs do not have the resources for proper marketing, and are ultimately unable to reach their desired marketing impact. Through this collaboration, the school will be able to support SMEs, whilst students will also receive precious internship opportunities. DDB Group Singapore’s CEO Jeff Cheong said that Spark is a one-stop virtual agency and SMEs will be able to work with SP students at a reasonable price than if they were to seek a well-established digital agency in the market. SP alumna Dolynn Yeo, who was among the first batch of students to work at Spark, shared that the experience helped her and enabled a smooth transition into working life.
