162 students receive SgIS scholarships, the highest since 2012

A total of 162 students received the Singapore Industrial Scholarship (SgIS) this year, which is the highest number since its inception in 2012. Among them was SP Diploma in Applied Chemistry graduate Nadiah Mohamad Azman. She shared how her mother’s terminal illness spurred her to pursue a career in the biomedical and pharmaceuticals industry. Nadiah received the scholarship with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and will be furthering her studies in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry at NTU.
