[2024 Young Artist Award] Musician Liu Junfeng: With ideals and passion, you can support yourself

Evan Low, is a music producer behind Singapore’s National Day theme songs “The Road Ahead” (2021) and “Not Alone” (2024). Despite his demanding schedule, which includes arranging music for A-Mei’s global tour, Evan remains passionate about his career journey. Inspired by his parents’ love for music, Evan pursued his passion by enrolling in SP’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT), where he learned music production, recording, and drumming. The polytechnic’s comprehensive curriculum exceeded his expectations and laid the foundation for his career. Liu later received a scholarship from the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to study at the Berklee College of Music, earning a bachelor’s degree. He attributes his key professional connections to his proactive efforts after graduating from SP, during which he collaborated with artists like iNCH, Nathan Hartono, and Benjamin Kheng.
