600 students join Toy Design Competition

The Straits Times, 8 Aug 2016 - Weekly column on activities and competitions in campuses across Singapore featured SP’s Toy Design Competition. The competition, which is organised for the 10th time by SP’s School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering aims to get students to explore engineering. Participants competed in two categories: one in which they made toys with moving gears, and the other in which they created aircraft-type toys using computer programs and 3D printers. The winners in both categories were mentioned in the article.
