8 awarded President's Award for Teachers for cultivating their moral character

Eight outstanding educators were awarded this year's President's Award for Teachers. A total of 4,798 teachers from 332 schools were nominated for the award, with 18 making the final selection, and eight ultimately receiving the award. Those selected will receive funding to attend conferences, seminars, and courses locally or overseas, while the award winners will have the opportunity to participate in overseas learning programmes to enhance their professional skills. Among the recipients are Ms Clarice Sim, a Teaching and Learning Mentor from SP’s Media, Arts & Design School, and Xie Xiuping, a lecturer from NYP’s School of Engineering.
