Between two markets

11 Jan 2016

Berita Minggu, 10 Jan 2016 - Article investigated how youth were seen to frequent supermarkets more than wet markets. SP’s Diploma in Media and Communication student, Syafil Yusof, noted that wet markets usually operate in the mornings while supermarkets operate for longer hours and even up to 24 hours a day. Youth are busy with work or school in the day and tend to sleep in on weekends, making supermarkets a natural choice. TP student, Farah Nadhirah Sazali, further opined that supermarkets are a one-stop shop with a wide variety of products; instead shoppers at wet markets have to go from shop to shop to get what they want.
