Bone cancer survivor scores four distinctions

The Straits Times, 20 Dec 2016 - Junyuan Secondary School student Chong Hui Min scored four distinctions with an EMB3 score of 10 points while fighting bone cancer. She put the national exams on hold last year when she was diagnosed with bone cancer and repeated Secondary 4 this year while coping with the side effects of her treatment. Hui Min intends to study biomedical science at SP under the one-year Polytechnic Foundation Programme. Her dream is to become a doctor, a goal reinforced by her brush with cancer.
