CDAC tuition helped her ace O levels

The Sunday Times, 28 Aug 2016 - NP’s accountancy student Ng Hui was featured as one of the 564 beneficiaries of self-help groups. She shared how she received tuition in mathematics and English from the Chinese Development Assistance Council since she was in Primary 1. Ng Hui was also one of 14 winners of the Best Overall Academic Performance Award at an annual ceremony which was held at NYP. Another award recipient who was mentioned in the article is New Town Secondary School’s student Kerthana Shree Shanmugavelu. She scored five distinctions in the N levels last year and hopes to get into SP’s Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetic Science course. Similar story was reported in Lianhe Zaobao and Shin Min Daily News.
