Berita Harian, 25 July 2017 - Article featured Hussain Fathah, who graduated from SP’s Diploma in Civil Engineering with Business and has received a Housing and Development Board (HDB) scholarship under the Ministry of National Development’s EDGE (“Executive Development and Growth Exchange”) programme. The former Northbrooks Secondary School student adds that as he was from the pioneer batch of PFP students, he was not sure if he was academically on par with his peers when he was a first year student. Hussain, who is waiting to enlist in National Service (NS), will continue his studies in civil engineering at NUS in 2019. Hussain is also active in volunteer work, and is a member of the Singapore Youth Corps. Hussain aspires to be a professional engineer who will make Singapore more sustainable for future generations.
