Cooking up Hawker Centre 3.0

Channel News Asia, 12 Apr 2016 - The Ministry of Environment and Water Resources (MEWR) has set up the Hawker Centre 3.0 Committee to explore ideas on how to support the hawker trade in Singapore. The committee will review and make recommendations to the Government on the management and design of new hawker centres, as well as provide suggestions to sustain and promote our hawker trade. Members of the committee include SP’s Deputy Principal (Development), Mr Hee Joh Liang, RP’s Office of Planning Director, Mr Chng Jiun Yih, and RP’s School of Hospitality Director, Mr Lee Kok Wai James.
