Creating an ideal workspace for collaboration

Berita Harian, 14 Mar 2017 - Article featured SP’s Diploma in Architecture (DARCH) student, Mirrah Najihah Abdul Hashim, whose final-year project was on display at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment’s recent graduation showcase. Mirrah designed a workspace for millennials, taking into account how the building’s design blends in with the surrounding area, which is situated in Chinatown. She shared that her aim was to create a collaborative office for workers from fields such as graphic design and architecture. She also opined that the final-year project helped her gain relevant experience in architectural design which will prepare her for a future career in the industry. The showcase, which was held at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Centre, displayed a total of 364 projects by students from DLA and the Diploma in Architecture (DARCH).
