Designing a cheerful workspace

14 Mar 2017

Berita Harian, 14 Mar 2017 - Article featured SP’s Diploma in Architecture (DARCH) student, Siti Nasyitah Sun'an, whose final-year project was on display at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment’s recent graduation showcase. Inspired by the works of Japanese architect Toyo Ito, Nasyitah designed a workspace that would intrigue workers – one side of the building is quiet and plain while the other side is animated and exciting. She shared that while designing a space, it is important to take into account how the architectural design relates to the surrounding area. The showcase, which was held at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Centre, displayed a total of 364 projects by students from DLA and the Diploma in Architecture (DARCH).
