Despite half year break from school, student fights cancer to enter university

Lianhe Wanbao, 9 May 2017 - Article featured SP Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management student Goh Yi Ling who suffered from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was diagnosed in year 2 and took a one semester break to undergo treatment and chemotherapy. Yi Ling shared about the pains of chemotherapy and how she pushed on with the support and encouragement of her family and friends. Despite her illness, she still takes the effort to make sure she doesn’t let her grades slip. She is graduating with a GPA of 3.86 and will further her studies in university.
