Famous spiker from the 1980’s national team dies at age of 52

Shin Min Daily News, 3 Jun 2016 - Article featured the former player from the 1980s men’s volleyball national team, Lu Chao Jia, who died from pulmonary thromboembolism. After retiring from the national team, Chao Jia became the volleyball coach for several schools, including Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) and RP. RP students commented about his dedication as a coach. Article also mentioned that he is a SP graduate. He has been actively playing volleyball since his secondary school days and was recruited into the national team at the age of 18. Similar story was reported in Lianhe Wanbao.
