Fifty ITE, poly graduates tell success in book

Channel News Asia, 30 Dec 2015 - SP’s Diploma in biotechnology alumnus, Dr Jonathan Loh, has published a book to raise awareness of the role of applied and technical education in Singapore. Titled ‘A Nation of Skilled Talents’, the book traces the development of skills and abilities over the years and features the stories of 50 poly and ITE graduates. Mr Izzat Ismail, a NP advanced multimedia alumnus, who owns an e-learning company was one of the graduates featured in the book. Similar article in Straits Times featured Mr Wayne Lim, a senior graphic designer who graduated from NYP with a diploma in industrial design. Wayne shared how the skills he learnt in school helped him to pursue his interest in designing and making toys.
