Channel News Asia, 14 Dec 2015 - First-year students from SP, TP and NP will soon benefit from a new Industry Mentors' Network programme. Under the programme, students will be linked to industry professionals who can provide career advice. Previously, such mentorship was usually extended to final year students during their internship stint. More than 200 mentors from at least 20 companies are part of the Industry Mentors' Network programme so far. NP has already started a pilot of the programme involving 850 students since October 2015. The students come from eight diploma courses such as Real Estate, Advertising and Public Relations. NP said about three to four students will be paired to a mentor who best matches their career interests. SP will begin its programme from April 2016.
