From street fighter to top S'pore Poly graduate

The Straits Times, 8 May 2017 - Article featured Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management graduand Muhammad Alfiz Kambali. Alfiz never took an interest in his studies while growing up and even sought comfort in bad company. After leaving school for some years, he decided to turn things around and enrolled into a Higher Nitec course in business studies (events management) at ITE, where he graduated with a perfect GPA of 4.0. He then took up the Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management course at SP in 2014, at the age of 25. Alfiz has graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA), and has been awarded the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal and Cityneon Events Gold Medal. Despite receiving offers from NTU and SMU, he plans to work first before pursuing further studies. COMMS note: This is part of our Graduation 2017 stories.
