Girl with Achondroplasia makes it to university

Shin Min Daily News, 8 May 2015 - SP’s Diploma in Engineering with Business (DEB) graduate Low Jia Li was featured in an article on her battle with Achondroplasia – a common cause of dwarfism . Due to the condition, Jia Li is only 1.2m tall and she shares the misconception and bullying she suffered while she was growing up. However, that has not stopped her ambition of wanting to be a financial consultant. Jia Li’s determination and perseverance saw her taking up the SP Diploma-plus in Applied Psychology and graduating from her DEB course with a grade point average of 3.7 out of 4.0. Jia Li will be reading Business at the Singapore Management University in August.
