The Sunday Times - Life!, 9 Oct 2016 - Weekly column on people who love food featured SP’s Diploma in Media and Communications student Fiona Quah. In July, she joined a video competition organised by insurance comparison site GoBear for the launch of its personal loans comparison service. Fiona was encouraged by her lecturer to take part and her Hawker Stories video beat more than 100 entries to win the grand prize of $10,000. In the column, the budding film-maker shared her passion for food and her mission to preserve the culture and identity of hawkers in Singapore. Similar story was reported in Lianhe Wanbao.
