Korean teen struggled with Mandarin, now tutors children in Mandarin

Shinmin Daily News, 4 Feb 2017 - Article featured SP Diploma in Media and Communications student Park Hyun Min who came to Singapore from Korea at the age of eight. She shared her struggles with picking up English and Chinese and her family’s challenges in adapting to a foreign land. She has since achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0 in the first semester and was awarded the SP Scholarship recently.
