Lianhe Zaobao, 7 May 2014 - SP DASE graduate Mr Pheh Ying Hong has developed a monocopter that is able to display graphics and messages through LED lights on its rotor as it spins. Mr Png has been accepted by SUTD and developed the monocopter in SUTD’s Fabrication Lab while waiting to begin his degree. The commercialized monocopter is predicted to be available on the market sometime next year.
