More determined to venture into the social services field

Berita Harian, 3 Apr 2017 - SP recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with six social and community service agencies to roll out enhanced internship programmes for Diploma in Applied Drama with Psychology (DADP) students. Students will be assigned a mentor and will also receive clearer learning objectives created by SP and the respective agencies. DADP student Nursyairah Zulkifli, opined that the structured training programme has greatly benefitted her as she was given a mentor who guided her throughout the 18-week internship. She also shared that she loves to work with children, and has organised a drama workshop for children on the topic of bullying. After graduating, Nursyairah intends to pursue a degree in social work at the National University of Singapore.
